Outreach
As we connect with people while demonstrating our faith through action, Jordan's Outreach is an activity of providing God's grace to any population who might not have access to these services. As a key component of Outreach, we are providing benevolent assistance at the locations where those in need are gathered; whether it be within Jordan, in our community, or around the world. Through our actions we transform lives, share God's grace, and promote hope in the name of Christ.
WE SUPPORT FAMILY PROMISE OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY
Jordan Lutheran Church and St Joseph the Worker host four families eight weeks a year with Family Promise of the Lehigh Valley. We are one of the 20 supporting congregations.
Family Promise of LV provides a community-based approach to assist families with children who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity to build patterns and enhance skills that will create sustainable independence.
We are committed to host eight weeks in 2026 – the weeks of January 4 & 11, March 8 & 15, August 16 & 23 and November 29 & December 6.

After nine years - 2026 will be the last that Fran (St Joseph the Worker) & Dean (Jordan Lutheran) will be the host coordinators.
