Pastor’s Adult Bible Study
will resume in September. We meet the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of each month at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in room 7 (across from Pastor’s office). This year we will have a fall session and a different session following Christmas.
The Fall session will begin on Tuesday, September 9th. We will use a curriculum called “The Light Will Shine: A Study for Advent.” This study will explore three important seasons of the church year—Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany. The course will help us understand the meaning of each season as we look through both Old and New Testament scripture texts, explore some of the key players in the stories of old and how they are important in our daily living and the future.
I invite you to this group which promises to provide lively conversation, deep questions, and fellowship as we learn and grow together in our faith. Please register no later than August 18th so that enough books can be ordered. The cost of the book is $25 (or as you are able. Please do not let the cost deter you from attending.) Please contact Pastor Dody if you have questions.

The Christian Education program at Jordan Lutheran is gospel-centered. It endeavors to teach discipleship to all God's children, helping them grow in their understanding of God, His word and our Lutheran heritage. Through this knowledge they become empowered to serve God and our community by living out our faith in our daily living.
